Starry, Starry Night Charity Event

Starry, Starry Night Charity Event

On Thursday, September 11, Steve Anderson Photography and Gallery will be hosting 200 of Orange County’s most chic, see-and-be-seen philanthropists during the first-ever Starry, Starry Night event. Attendees will walk Orange County’s ultra-exclusive red carpet, sip signature cocktails, bid on celebrity and one-of-a-kind auction items, and mingle with some of the cast from “The Real Housewives of Orange County.” All proceeds will benefit Working Wardrobes, a non-profit organization that gets adults in crises back to work.

Starry, Starry Night is the brain-child of Betsy Klein, partner of Steve Anderson Photography who took the idea to Marilen Coughenour, Board Chair for Working Wardrobes; and Jeana Keough, cast member of “The Real Housewives of Orange County.” Together, the three share a common thread of recognizing the value in developing the inner potential in people.  “Steve, through his portraiture work, is able to tap into never-before-seen emotions and inner beauty of the person he is photographing, the person within the person, which give way to truly original pictures,” shares Klein. “Marilen and I met Jeana at a time when she was going through a personal transformation, learning to recognize her own inner beauty and potential within.

We believe our connection was serendipitous and it only made sense that Starry, Starry Night should benefit Working Wardrobes, a nonprofit that helps at-risk adults recognize their inner potential by providing them with career skills to re-enter the workforce and regain their self-esteem.”

Keough—along with other cast members from the show— Coughenour and Klein have created an event that will entertain their guests and generate awareness of Working Wardrobes on a national level. The fundraiser will bring invaluable exposure for Working Wardrobes to a whole new audience and is especially timely as Working Wardrobes, looking to expand their efforts, has recently partnered with national companies and associations to help thousands more at-risk adults across the country get back to work.

Starry, Starry Night is being generously underwritten by Steve Anderson Photography and 100% of the event proceeds will go to Working Wardrobes. In addition to priceless experiences such as a European Driving Experience, Elton John / Las Vegas VIP excursion and others that will be auctioned off, numerous Orange County businesses have come on board with sponsorships and auction item donations. The event’s top sponsors include Tourneau, Baccarat, Bloomingdale’s, Eleme Medical, Escada, Poleci, Ziba Beauty, Wild Attire, Pelican Hill, Pro Photo Connection and 333 Candle Company. Event sponsorships are still available, for more information contact Nicole Hoperich at (714) 210-2460. Steve Anderson Photography is located at 3545 Harbor Gateway South #101 in Costa Mesa. Tickets are limited and prices are $150 (individual), $250 (couples) and $500 (VIP couples) and may be purchased online at www.workingwardrobes.org/starrynight.

No surprise... I heard there was going to be a fantastic, charitable OC Celeb event - which means Betsy Klein and Steve Anderson had to be hosting. The BEST parties, gorgous setting (I can tell the Housewives were photographed in Steve's studio - tres chic!) and absolutely amazing photography.
